Sharon and Ben | Our Lady Star of the Sea | Watsons Bay | Dunbar House

Sharon and Ben got an absolutely perfect Sydney day for their wedding – sunny but not so hot. I have photographed Ben’s sister wedding about a year ago so it was great to see their family again.
I photographed both the boys and the girls getting ready, before the ceremony at the beautiful church Our Lady Star of the Sea in Watsons Bay.
We used some of the many great locations around Watsons Bay for the wedding location photos such as Macquarie Lighthouse, Camp Cove, the beach at Watsons Bay and Dunbar House.
Dunbar House were also the reception venue. It looks great after the renovations.

Kate and Tim | Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron

Kate & Tim were married and held their reception at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron.
I met up with Kate and the girls at home. Kate sister was the make up artist and did a wonderful job. As well as Kate’s parents and grandma there were also a few close family friends around creating a lovely atmosphere for Kate to get ready in.

After a lovely ceremony we used the lovely grounds of the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron for a big group photo and as background for the wedding photos on location.
we had some great light and i had a great time photographing.

Sara & Yuji | Athol Hall | Bradleys Head

Sara and Yuji – married on a stunning Sydney afternoon on the lawn at the wonderful Athol Hall.
I met up with Sara her family at home getting ready. Sara and Yuji had a Japanese inspired theme for wedding so there were many wonderful details to capture from the band around the flowers, bridesmaid’s dress and decoration for the reception.
Yuji and the best man were waiting nervously at at Athol Hall.
Yuji’s family in Japan was participating thru Skype.
After a lovely wedding ceremony and a traditional sake ceremony we did some photos around the grounds of Athol Hall before driving down the road to Bradleys Head.
I had a great time shooting. The light was exiting and there is always a lot of opportunities and backgrounds to work with at Bradleys Head.
Reception was held at Athol Hall and as mentioned before, beautifully decorated with a Japanese theme.

Lisa and Antoine | St Paul of the Cross Catholic Church Duliwich Hill | Sydney College of the Arts | Summer Salt Restaurant

Lisa & Antoine were married in the grand and beautiful church St Paul of the Cross Catholic Church in Duliwich Hill. I met up with both Lisa & Antoine before the ceremony.
They had a lovely ceremony and all the guest pleasantly surprised when gelato van were waiting outside church. I had a taste myself and it was delicious.

After a big group photo and a family photos we traveled to the Sydney College of the Arts for the wedding photos on location. It is a wonderful location with lovely sandstone vintage building courtyards and quirky artifacts. Found an old bath we had some fun with.

The Reception was held at the wonderful Summer Salt Restaurant in Cronulla.

Aly & Chris | The Tea Room Gunners Barracks

Aly & Chris were married and held the reception at the beautiful Gunners Barracks and The Tea Room.
When I arrived at Gunners the boys were busy making sure everything was was perfect for Aly’s arrival.
They had a lovely ceremony conducted by a minister (friend of the family).
After the ceremony we did a family and a group photo in the courtyard.
The courtyard at Gunners Barracks is a great place to photograph. You have the huge sand stone walls and the lovely cobblestones as background when shooting from above.
All the wedding location photos were done in and around Gunners Barracks.

Jen and Nathan | Dunes Restaurant | Palm Beach

Jen & Nathan held their wedding Palm Beach on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
I photographed both the boys and the girls getting ready before driving to Dunes Restaurant for the ceremony. The ceremony was moved inside as it looked like the rain was on its way. Dunes has a great marquee for indoor ceremony’s.

The rain held off so after a lovely ceremony we gathered outside for the petal throwing and a group photo. The family photos were done at Governor Phillip Park with view over the ocean. We also had time for a few wedding location photos there before it started raining lightly.
Palm Beach Wharf is a great wet weather wedding location and we shot the rest of the location photos there. It stopped raining and we had a great time photographing
Reception was held at the wonderful Dunes Restaurant.

Emma & Russell held a morning wedding at the beautiful situated Little Bay Chapel in Little Bay overlooking the ocean. The service was very special with all their lovely bridesmaids/flower girls. We had time for a group photo before driving to Watsons Bay for a few location photos on the beach and at the reception at Dunbar House.

Melissa & Richard | Governor Phillip Park | Palm Beach | Dunes Restaurant

Melissa & Richard had a perfect Sydney spring day for their wedding at Governor Phillip Park Palm Beach on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The decorators for the ceremony was Romeos Chair.

Melissa waked the isle accompanied by here two brothers. The celebrant was Sheree Soderlund who held a lovely ceremony. For the location wedding photos we used the rustic and beautiful Palm Beach Wharf, and a few more secret spots around Palm Beach before ending up at the beach at North Palm Beach. The reception was held at the wonderful Dunes Restaurant located just a stone throw from the beach.

Alex & Craig – Cavallino Restaurant

Alex & Craig were married and held their wedding reception at the lovely Cavallino Restaurant in Terry Hills.
I visited both Alex and Craig before hand and got some lovely getting ready photos. It was a rainy day but we were lucky as it stopped raining just at the most important times and the wedding ceremony was indoors at the restaurant.
After a lovely ceremony we did a group, family and few wedding location photos before the reception started.

The DJ was the great Above and Beyond

Monika & Francesco – St Charles Borromeo Church Ryde – Observatory Hill – The Rocks – Italian Village

Monika & Francesco were married in the beautiful St Charles Borromeo Church in Ryde on a perfect Sydney day. Photographed both the boys and the girls getting ready – with lots of relaxed and fun getting ready photos.
The girls arrived in a stretch Hummer from Book a Hummer. After a lovely ceremony we headed into Sydney and the Observatory Hill and The Rocks for the wedding photos on location. I had a fantastic time shooting Monika & Francesco and the bridal party lots of fun and documentary style wedding photos. The Reception was held at Italian Village at the Rocks.
